Darlene Duncan, Crime Prevention Specialist with Poway, will host a Parents Only evening at Oak Valley Middle School to discuss the dangers of middle school. She will touch on subjects such as drug/alcohol awareness, gangs and air soft guns.

· Children’s use of tobacco and alcohol at an early age is a predictor of other drug use.
· Marijuana is the number 1 drug choice for teens entering treatment programs.
